The Gerlitzen Apartment is situated in an apartment complex at an altitude of 1,500 meters, offering a view of Lake Ossiach in front of the house and serving as the perfect starting point for various leisure activities. In the summer, you are in the heart of a hiking area, while in the winter, you are right next to the ski slopes. Experience the tranquillity and fresh air in the middle of nature and recharge your energy.

We love nature. The apartment is our oasis for relaxing and recharging on the mountain. Gerlitzen is not just a great spot for skiing in winter, but also a year-round destination. Enjoy hiking in the summer with moderate temperatures, and experiencing start of spring and searching for mushrooms in autumn. Our favourites are the Gerlitzen cake at the Pöllinger hut, the coffee at the Steinwender hut and the Kösterle at the Neugarten hut. Which will be yours? The Almresort Gerlitzen is the perfect vacation destination for nature lovers, whether in summer or winter. In winter, you can ski from right outside your door to the Kanzelbahn mid-station with its ski and snowboard school in just a few minutes. The ski area offers a total of 45 kilometres of slopes and 15 modern lifts. Whether it's freestyle skiing, snowboarding, or snowshoe walking, there's something for everyone here. In summer, over 140 hiking trails and cosy huts invite you to take extended tours. Several Nordic walking routes provide optimal health and fitness training. Cyclists will find plenty of trails to enjoy, whether with a trekking bike, e-bike, road bike, or mountain bike. It's also perfect for children, with a fun park right at the mid-station. A new archery course is just two minutes from the accommodation. Discover the energy places on the Gerlitzen that were once used by the Celts. Additionally, Lake Ossiach at the foot of the mountain offers a wide range of activities from relaxing tranquillity to fun and action with water skiing, sailing, surfing, or stand-up paddling. Gerlitzen also has its charm in spring and autumn finding mushrooms. The accommodation is accessible by car via the Gerlitzen Gipfelstraße in Treffen, with the toll fee covered by the local tax. The nearest larger city, Villach, is nearby, and the nearest highway exit (Villach/Ossiacher See) is 13 km away. The accommodation is also easily accessible by public transport. By train, you can reach Annenheim at the Kanzelbahn valley station. From there, take the Kanzelbahn to the mid-station and walk ten minutes to the apartment.
