You can walk directly to the bakery, supermarket and restaurants in the centre (approx. 500 m). Or you can have fresh bread rolls delivered to your door in the morning by the local baker. You can reach the well-known ski areas of Kaprun and Zell am See in no time at all by car or ski bus (bus stop 400 metres away). Kaprun is located near a glacier and, with a summit of 3029 metres, is quite snow-sure. You can often ski there from November to May. The Zell am See ski area is very extensive and is fun for both beginners and advanced skiers. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the pistes. In total, the Kaprun-Zell am See area has no less than 135 kilometres of pistes.
