Welcome to AH Carinthia Mallnitz – Carinthia Appartements – Enjoy the Serenity of the Mountains Our small-scale apartment house offers five comfortable and tastefully furnished apartments, suitable for 2 to 6 guests. Each apartment provides everything you need for a carefree stay – including a private balcony with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape of Mallnitz. Relax in our spacious garden behind the house, enjoy a good book on the sunny terrace, or light the BBQ in the evening for a cozy meal in the fresh mountain air. Please note: the property does NOT have a private swimming pool. The public swimming pool Tauernbad Mallnitz is within walking distance (200 meters) from our house. You can make use of our breakfast buffet (available at an additional charge). Two options can be booked on site: Sweet Petit Breakfast: bread roll, sweet pastries, jam, butter, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate spread, and honey. (7,50 EUR per Person, per Day) Breakfastbuffet: bread rolls, croissant, sweet pastries, butter, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, sweet treats, fruit, and egg. (15,00 EUR per Person, per Day) The free (ski) bus stop is just 100 meters away, and within a few minutes’ walk you will find yourself in the heart of the impressive Hohe Tauern National Park – a paradise for hikers, nature lovers, and those seeking peace and quiet. During the winter season (19 December 2025 to 1 April 2026), the tourist tax is adjusted and applies to every tourist, regardless of whether the facilities are used or not. The ski bus to the Mölltaler Glacier and the Ankogel ski area is free of charge. Additionally, you may enjoy one free daily entrance to the Tauernbad Mallnitz swimming pool (sauna available at an extra charge). (The regular entrance fee for the swimming pool is available at reception) The tourist tax is settled at the accommodation.

In the immediate vicinity, there are two smaller ski areas available (Ankogel and the Mölltaler Glacier) as well as one larger ski area (SkiGastein in the neighboring province of Salzburg, part of Ski Amadé). In addition, you can enjoy more than 150 kilometers of winter hiking trails and over 25 kilometers of cross-country skiing tracks. Children can have great fun sledding on the hill at HochOben, and when snow conditions allow, you can experience the longest natural toboggan run in the Tauerntal (accessible via the Stockerhütte). Summer, Spring & Autumn When the snow melts, nature comes to life. Explore the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
