近年に改装/拡張された1330年築の建物は、かつて馬車宿として長い間利用されていました。土台と外観の一部は中世の名残りを残しています。建物の特別な魅力は巨大な石の壁や床、伝統的な地下室やアーチ形の天井、貴重な壁画に反映されています。
Hotel Gasthof zur Post GmbHは、伝統的な雰囲気と革新的なデザインを見事に調和させています。緑のローデン、木材や鹿の角などの古典的な要素は、オリジナルの方法で客室にも盛り込まれています。多くの客室には印象的なオープンバスルームが備わっています。

このホテルは過去に多くの著名人をお迎えしてきました。1784年8月には、「ナンネルル/Nannerl」というニックネームをもつモーツァルトの実姉、アンナ・マリアの結婚式がここで行われました。
