Known for its excellent cuisine, this traditional 4-star hotel is located directly on the main square in the heart of Gmünd, a historic town in Lower Austria’s Waldviertel region. Hotel & Restaurant Stern offers modern and comfortable rooms, a wine tavern, and a spa area with a bio sauna, a steam bath, and a relaxation room. Regional and Austrian specialities as well as international dishes and fine Austrian and international wines are served in the restaurant’s 3 dining rooms. Gmünd’s brine bath, the Blockheide Nature Reserve, and several golf courses are very close to Hotel & Restaurant Stern.
