We hope you will enjoy a relaxing and wonderful holiday in our vacation region, the Zugspitze Arena – one of the most beautiful areas in Tyrol. From Haus Tirol Ehrwald, you have the perfect starting point for a winter sports holiday, cycling holiday, hiking holiday, or simply a relaxing getaway. You can store your bicycle safely and free of charge in our indoor bike storage room. Within just a few minutes, you will find yourself surrounded by the impressive, unspoiled nature that the Zugspitze Arena has to offer. A wide range of additional sporting activities is also available, including tobogganing, rafting, skiing, climbing – and not to be missed, paragliding from the Grubigstein in Lermoos. For a sporty challenge, you can hike on foot via the Ehrwalder Alm all the way to the summit of the Zugspitze. This very popular route is known as the Gatterl Tour. Further information can be found on the official website of the Zugspitze Arena. Ehrwald is also located along the famous cycling route “Via Claudia Augusta”, which runs from Augsburg to Venice. The Ehrwalder Alm ski area is particularly well suited for families. By car, you can reach the valley station in just 5 minutes.

The house is sunny and quietly located, yet only a short walk from the town center. Directly in front of the house you will find cross-country ski trails as well as cycling paths leading through the Moos landscape. You can choose from five different ski areas, all reachable within 5 minutes by car or conveniently by the free ski bus, which stops directly in front of the house. Ehrwalder Alm: Perfect for families. A wide mountain plateau at around 2,000 meters featuring a fun park, a true paradise for children, and charming mountain huts offering delicious lunches. Zugspitze: A state-of-the-art cable car takes you to nearly 3,000 meters in just 10 minutes. Germany’s highest mountain offers spectacular panoramic views and an impressive viewing platform. Garmisch-Partenkirchen: Within only 20 minutes you can reach this elegant alpine town with attractive shops, restaurants, and many leisure opportunities.
