This wonderful oasis of tranquility between meadows, forest and fields is the ideal place to recover from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and really let your soul dangle. The large garden with pond invites you to relax and also offers enough space for children to play and do as they please. A table tennis table and badminton net are available on site. As guests you will have the entire accommodation and garden for yourself. The former farmhouse was recently renovated and has three rooms with sleeping facilities, plus a living room, bathroom, toilet and, as a special highlight, the large and newly fitted kitchen. Despite the secluded location, a fiber optic internet connection ensures the connection to the outside world. Be it because of the hiking and cycling opportunities, the unbelievable starry spectacle at night, the sunsets at the pond or encounters with the deer of the forest, it is going to be an unforgettable experience full of beautiful memories.

As hosts, we are pleased to fill this house, which has not been used for several years, with new life. When we purchased it in 2022 we renovated it from the ground up. Our most favorite thing about this place is the tranquility, the amazing stars at night and the closeness to nature. We hope that you enjoy your stay here as much as we do. Only a few hundred meters from the house you can reach the Waldviertel cycle network, which - with Litschau as the central hub - offers a variety of tours in the surrounding area. The distance from the accommodation to Litschau, where the Schrammel festival and theater festival, Waldviertlerbahn, Herrensee swimming, mini golf and boat rentals are on the program, is about 7 km. Another 8 km from Litschau is the golf resort Haugschlag. In the Czech Republic, the old town of Třeboň is a good 30 km away. Or you can hop across the border to the delicious fish kiosk at the Stankauer Teich (15 km). Excursions in the Czech Republic can also be made to Krumau (80 km) or Telč (60 km) with their beautiful old towns, castles and palaces. A number of natural monuments in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation invite you to go on discovery walks (e.g. Fünf Brüder, Katzenstein, Höllgraben). The remarkable Blockheide Gmünd and the high moor nature park Schrems are about 20 km away. We will be happy to provide you with more information about other destinations and activities.
