I'm a Malaysian urbanite happily married to a Carinthian country boy, and together, our journey has been anything but ordinary. We spent 12 vibrant years living in Dubai, soaking in its energy and building unforgettable memories. My professional background includes a decade in the skies as a flight attendant with Emirates Airlines, where I had the privilege of exploring over 30 countries and connecting with people from every corner of the globe. Just a brief 8-minute walk (approximately 600 meters) from the apartment, you'll find the public free beach, 'Freibad Töschling Ost'. This inviting spot features a pier, restroom facilities, and changing amenities. Adjacent to our apartment, you'll find the Billa grocery store, which boasts a convenient warm deli corner and freshly baked pastries. For a delightful dining experience, we highly recommend our cherished family eatery, Ciao Ciao Pizzeria (approximately 1.1 kilometers away), or you might opt for the delectable Wikibowls Hawaiian (around 2.9 kilometers distant). Our apartment offers excellent accessibility via the A2 Highway (vignette required), and for those who prefer not to drive, the train station is conveniently situated right across from our apartment (only a 3-minute walk, 180 meters away). The S-Bahn service intricately connects the region with Carinthia's central area, ensuring a robust network of rail connections across multiple lines. As the summer season dawns, our rail services further expand. Additional transportation options will be introduced between Villach Central Station and Tarvisio/Boscoverde in Italy, as well as between Villach Central Station and Jesenice in Slovenia.
