Ski in Ski out. The beautiful Old Pirklalm alpine lodge stands at 1250 meters with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It is fully accessible by car in all seasons by the road that winds up the mountain from the village of Pruggern. It was completely rebuilt in 2008 and the fully renovated lodge is now available as a self-catering destination designed for groups up to 18 people. It offers a huge terrace and barbecue where you can sit and enjoy the wonderful view. You have the Dachstein, Kammspitze, Stoderzinken and Grimming mountains, and the valley of the river Enns in the palm of your hand. In winter you can ski in and out from your door directly on to the Galsterberg slopes, including the toboggan run (night runs twice a week in winter) . The world famous resorts of Schladming and Hauser Kaibling are a very short drive away, as are the rest of the mountain slopes of the Enns valley. The rooms are all fully renovated and offer en-suite bathrooms. It is a very popular destination with small and large groups alike and in particular with families, for whom there are numerous attractions in both summer and winter.

In winter you can ski from your doorstep onto the Galsterberg slopes and back to your front door. The resorts of Schladming and Hauser Kaibling are a very short drive away, as are the rest of the mountain slopes of the Enns valley. In summer the area offers some of the best hiking, climbing, mountain biking and canoeing opportunities in Europe. There is also an aerial sports school nearby. For families there are numerous opportunities , with climbing and adventure parks, nature reserves, tobogganing and canyoning all within 10km. The idyllic Bodensee is just up the road. Summer in the Ennstal is fantastic!
