Marysville has a way of touching your heart, as it has for over 20 years. We experienced the thriving township and then saw the town go through devastation and now growth again. It is the community sprit and the natural beauty that draws guests and visitors to the region time and time again. You may recognise our faces we were one of the previous owners of Keppel’s Hotel/Motel where we got to meet so many great people and provided them with a memorable experience in Marysville. Georgia and Simon stayed in the area after the sale of the hotel and Karla has returned after 14years and is happy to make this her home. Dean and Isabelle spend a lot of their time visiting Marysville and surrounds whilst visiting Georgia, Simon and Karla and welcomed the opportunity for a new adventure with Amelina Cottages, which are now part of our family. From our family to yours, we welcome you to Amelina cottages and hope you enjoy our stay as Marysville as much as we do.

Amelina Cottages multi awarding winning cottages are self-contained traditional country cottages for couples and small families. Two 2 Bedroom cottages and two 1 bedroom studio garden cottages. Quality accommodation accredited 4.5. star with fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers, real wood fires, spa baths, rev. cycle a/c, TV, DVD, BBQ. Attention to details that we love to give. Set opposite the State Forest, and over an acre of cottage gardens, Amelina Cottages are a short two minute stroll over the Steavenson River to the heart of Marysville Village. 90 KM north east of Melbourne travelling through the stunning Yarra Valley wine region and magnificent tall timbers of the Black Spur. 1/2 hour from Lake Mountain Alpine Resort and Healesville Sanctuary. A few minutes walk to Bruno's Art and Sculpture Gardens. A great central base to tour Yarra Valley, Upper Goulburn and High Country. Steavenson Falls, MiRa - Marysville Information and Regional Art Space. Great walking tracks, Lake Mountain Cascade mountain bike trail, many wonderful walks in and around Marysville, cafe, restaurants and shops add to the experience.

Marysville is a small village with heaps to do in the area. We have a beautiful 18 hole golf course, 25 minute drive up to Lake Mountain Alpine resort,with cross country skiing, beautiful walks and now a world class mountain bike trail of 28 km, Bruno Sculpture Garden and studio, Little Fishes Art Studio, Indi Art. We have an amazing children play ground, which even has a flying fox, stateboard ramps, Trout and salmon ponds, Marysville Information Centre, fantastic walks. Steavenson Falls which is floodlit at night. Lake Mountain Mountain bike tracks at Buxton and Marysville and some really nice cafe, restaurants and shops.
