Appletree Cottage is an 1870's 2 bedroom sandstone and sandstock brick cottage near the Lake Alexandra heritage precinct. Renovated in 2016 with a high end fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with large soaking tub and rainshower ,fluffy towels and toiletries as well as underfloor heating in the bathroom,kitchen and dining area. The kitchen and dining room open out onto a paved sandstone alfresco area surrounded by a rosemary hedge which leads to a pretty garden with plenty of outdoor seating as well as an undercover area. The bedrooms have queensize beds,linen sheets and electric blankets. There is a gas log fireplace and ceiling fan , TV, Wifi, multispeaker to play your own music via Bluetooth or wifi, board games and plenty of reading material. Easy parking and situated in a quiet residential area surrounded by other heritage homes, Appletree Cottage is 100 metres to the centre of town and all its attractions including antique shops, 18 cafes, restaurants and, pubs. There are bush walks, Sturt Gallery and local wineries. Bowral is 5 kms up the road , Berrima has a working 1830's sandstone gaol as well as plenty more wineries and eateries.
