Be part of Barossa History, and stay in the renovated Hayloft, or the original Stables built by the Herbig family, who lived in the nearby famous Herbig Family Tree. Whether you are visiting the Barossa, the Hills, or you just want a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle, our reasonably priced cottages, built in the 1890s are for you. Cuddle up in front of the lovely wood fire in the Stables, or go upstairs in the Hayloft. (Chromecast in both Stables & Hayloft for streaming)
* Welcome basket inc. coffee pods, tea, biscuits, bottled water, noodles and porridge etc.
* If approved for pet, a pet fee per stay will be added.
* Stables - (during non fire ban season) we supply one complimentary basket of timber and kindling for the first night. Bring extra timber (max diameter 110mm x 380mm length) for other nights if desired.
The grounds of the cottages are peaceful, with billabong, windmill, firepits, emu, geese, turkeys and chooks looking through the fence. There are ponds, and even a boat to relax in.
PLEASE VIEW SPRINGTON LOCATION ON A MAP BEFORE BOOKING - You can walk to the general store, (Pizzas, Takeaways, Curries, petrol and supplies), the Springton Pub, Edenmae cellar door, or a short drive to dozens of Barossa wineries and restaurants, National Motor Museum, Angaston station adventure playground, Murray River at Mannum, Mt Pleasant Farmers Markets, Monarto Safari Park, Woodside Chocolate and Cheese factory, Hahndorf or Mt Crawford forest hikes.
We are sure you will enjoy either the Stables or the Hayloft as much as we do. We bought this beautiful property for our friends and family to enjoy, and when available, for others such as yourselves. If you need a break from the busy city lifestyle, come and relax in our double hammock, on the boat in the billabong, by the firepits, or a night watching the wood heater in the Stables. The sound of the waterfalls, birds, and flowing water in the ponds adds to the relaxed ambience. Our highlight is to know that we have provided a place of tranquillity for all our guests.
