We purchased the 86 acre property in 2021, which we share with several mobs of kangaroos and wallabies, and a wide selection of native Australian birds. Watervale is a town on the Horrocks Highway in the Clare Valley, South Australia, approximately 9 kilometres north of Auburn and 15 kilometres south of Clare. It is surrounded by a number of small wineries and is home to the Award Winning Watervale Hotel, and the Watervale General Store, operated by the owners of the Watervale Hotel. The Riesling Trail runs past the town to the west, between the Highway and the Skilly Hills and the area is also part of the Clare Valley Wine and Wilderness Trail, a 100 kilometer hiking trail around the Valley.
