The Retreat is an establish property and is absolute beachfront with private access to Nine Mile Beach which is also called Dolphin Sands.
We fell in love with the Dolphin Sands area about 10 years ago and have offered our property so you can enjoy the experiences that made us love the place so much.
The property is very private and in an amazing location for access to the surrounding areas like Wine Glass Bay, Swansea, Bicheno and the surrounding vineyards.
We try to cater to most peoples needs with all the necessary ammenities and the house has lots of space for a few people or a larger group to enjoy each other's company. We some lovely relaxation areas with a lounge, sitting area and a quiet space with amazing view on the top level.
We have a laundry area with a toilet in the bunk-house to accomodate extra people.
The house does get a little chilly in the winter so make sure you have warm clothes. The wood fire in the lounge area keeps things cozy when watching tv or spending quality time together.
We have all the modern amenities with high speed internet, a Netflix enabled TV and even an EV charger for your car that is available on a fair usage basis.
You will be perfectly placed for day trips to Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay, Maria Island, Bicheno and Bay of Fires.
Come and explore the whole of The East Coast of Tasmania from Swansea / Dolphin Sands the central hub of the East Coast.

We are a family who love the Tasmanian beach lifestyle and wanted to share with others around the world.
We have tried to make the property a welcoming home for you and your family We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We are not on site, however we have a local co-host who is only 10 minutes away if needed.
Less than 10 minute drive to the beautiful town of Swansea, 20 minutes to the vineyard districts, or 30 minutes to Cole’s Bay.
Your own car will be needed if you want to visit the beautiful surrounding areas.
