Beeston Cottage is a comfortable single storey home with outdoor entertaining, off-street covered parking and an enclosed backyard. The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, compact dining area with a northerly aspect and a cosy living room with a flat screen TV. The bathroom and toilet are both mobility-friendly with non-slip flooring and grab rails. Quilts, blankets, tea towels and tablecloths are supplied in the cottage. Guests are encouraged to bring their own beach towels.
We are Rob and Carol. We live locally and have been settled in Port Vincent for about 6 years. We enjoy wooden boats (building, sailing and rowing them), fishing and crabbing (we know some good spots we can share) and travelling.
Port Vincent is a friendly family-orientated seaside town with safe, clean beaches, sailing and wind surfing, dedicated ski area, good onshore and offshore fishing and crabbing, beachfront kiosk with excellent fish and chips and burgers, and local oysters. Beeston Cottage is 1.4 klms from the Town Institute and swimming beach. Port Vincent town facilities include 24-hour fuel, IGA supermarket, spacious hotel and bottle shop, pharmacy, coffee shop, gift shop, news agency, post office, and marina. Other local attractions include two pay-as-you-go boat ramps, children's playgrounds, bird watching and bush walks.
