Bowen is a lovely Beachside town, local seafood is a must, fresh daily from the Trawler to shop, also coffee shops along with many Pubs that have great meals. The boardwalk along the front beach is great atmosphere with a waterpark and skate park for the kids as well as all the information regarding the making of the movie "Australia". Superboats are here at the end of July each year which is an amazing weekend for the town everyone gets involved.
