Clarevale Cottage B&B is set well back from the road and surrounded by natural garden. There is off street secure parking for two vehicles. We are in walking distance to the main street, all facilities, pubs, restaurants and the famous Riesling Trail. There are back and front verandas to relax with a Clare Valley Riesling after a day of sightseeing, wine tasting or cycling. Inside the Cottage there is a fully functional kitchen, comfy lounges, Foxtel, free Wifi, white leather queen-size bed, large bathroom/laundry with laundry tub, washing machine, ironing board and iron for that longer stay. On arrival you will be greeted with a bottle of Clare Valley Wine, chocolates, three types of coffees. For breakfast there is cereal, bread, home-made jam, milk and fruit juice. In the winter months porridge is also included. Also on arrival we have a comprehensive collection of brochures of activities, wineries, cycle hire, restaurants etc to choose from. My name is Monica and together with my husband Graham started up our B&B approximately 3 years ago. We are originally from Melbourne and Spalding, respectively. We moved to the Clare Valley approximately 20 years ago and built the then 'granny flat' for visitors and children visiting. Then three years ago we converted it into a B&B. We are loving the experience of meeting people from all over the world. We are both retired now, me from Executive Officer for farmer groups and Graham from PIRSA as an Agricultural Economist. Having said that, living in a country community, you never really retire.

The Clare Valley is a wine area with over 40 wineries, not to mention fine dining restaurants, take-aways, 'pubs' and cafes. Clarevale Cottage is located within walking distance to the main shopping area and all facilities. The famous Riesling Trail is just a minute from the Cottage and bike hire can re arranged prior to your stay. Inside the Cottage is a mini Tourist Information shelf with everything you need to know about eating, entertainment for adults and kids, wineries, art galleries and lots lots more.
