Coral Gate 40 is perfectly positioned on the absolute waterfront within the exclusive Anchorage Island Estate, Tweed Heads. Set in a quiet, secure complex with beautifully maintained gardens and a swimming pool, this first-floor townhouse offers a peaceful island-style escape while being just minutes from everything you need. Step outside to enjoy direct access to a sandy beach—ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. Guests can take advantage of the electric BBQ on the private waterfront balcony and even cook up the day’s catch. A kayak is also available for guest use. While you’re welcome to bring your boat, please note that off-site storage is required (available nearby on Wharf Street). Inside, the townhouse features 2 bedrooms (main with queen bed and ensuite, second with 2 king singles), both with ceiling fans. The open-plan living area includes comfortable furnishings, a smart TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi, books, and games for entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and everything you need to dine in or entertain. The main bathroom offers a walk-in shower and separate bath, plus a laundry with washer and dryer. The location offers the best of both worlds—serenity by the water, yet just a short distance to shops, public transport, Twin Towns Services Club, Tweed Hospital, bowls clubs, the Tweed River, and some of the Gold Coast’s best beaches. Please note: Anchorage Island is suited to mature guests seeking a quiet, peaceful getaway. Smoking is not permitted. There is one garage space only (no visitor parking). Access is via a lockbox at the property, further information provided after booking. Linen - Holiday properties are equipped with blankets/ doonas and pillows and protectors, however please remember to bring / hire your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Linen can be hired at a reasonable cost, we will provide details once your booking is confirmed.

Lined with Norfolk Pines, turquoise waters and white sand, the Southern Gold Coast is home to some of the Gold Coast’s best beaches. Enjoy a day at one of our glorious patrolled beaches- Coolangatta, Rainbow Bay, Palm Beach, Currumbin, Tugun or Bilinga! Or head to Kirra Point, Snapper Rocks or Greenmount for world-class surfing. There’s plenty of whale watching opportunities from the heights of Kirra Point lookout or Point Danger, or pack a picnic and enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. From here you can look back to see the entire coastline up to Surfer’s Paradise and know that you have really slowed down. That doesn’t mean it’s boring! The southern Gold Coast has an array of shopping, cafes, restaurants, entertainment options and plenty of activities and attractions to keep the kids busy. Getting around is easy with a hire car, regular buses, or catch an uber or taxi. Theme parks are within 40 minutes’ drive and the glitz and glamour of Surfer’s Paradise is only half an hour from Coolangatta. All beaches are within easy access of the Gold Coast International Airport and Coolangatta shares the border with NSW, your gateway to Byron Bay, Cabarita and Kingscliff beaches or Mt Warning – great for day tripping!
