Comfy period cottage - family friendly, three bedrooms plus large kitchen and lounge/dining with smart tv. Located in the centre of the beautiful town of Ross 1 min walk to local pub for lunch or dinner and 2 bakeries for your morning coffee and sitdown breakfast - as well as other specialty shops and attractions
Ross Pool open throughout summer. The picturesque town of Oatlands is a 30 min drive south for a perfect day trip.
Great handmade gelato & The Tasmania shop is found in Campbell Town
Ross is a beautiful heritage town with the oldest sandstone convict built bridge - there are plenty of georgian sandstone homes ad churches to look at ad The Womens Factory which housed women and children convicts. There are 2 bakeries in town - Ross Village Bakery boasts a centuries old woodfired oven still used to make their delicious items such as their famous vanilla slice. The Ross Hotel is a gorgeous old english style pub with a restaurant open for lunch and dinner supporting local and seasonal fare and alcohol. Ross is only 10 mins from Campbel Town and 30 mins from Oatlands and sits in the midle of Tasmania alongside the main road connecting Hobart and Launceston. Its a great place to spend a few days sightseeing bein 45 mins from Launceston , 1 hour from wineglass bay and 1 hour from Richmond
