Hello! I'm delighted to welcome you to our beach house in the dunes of Emu Bay on Kangaroo Island. The property is perfectly situated amidst the beautiful dunes of Emu Bay. It's a great base for exploring the island or just enjoying a beach holiday.
I am a local who loves sharing the pristine beauty of this coastline, and I'm available to share my deep knowledge of the best local wineries, wildlife spots, and hidden beaches to ensure you have an unforgettable island experience.
The property is in the dunes, with a private path directly down to the beach. Emu Bay beach is 11km long, with a jetty and the township at one end and a wild, beautiful headland at the other. Nearby you can visit the Lavender farm, KI Brewery, Gin Distillery or travel into Kingscote, the island's main town which is 15 minutes drive. Emu Bay is well situated as a base to visit the rest of the island, travelling along the north coast to a string of beautiful and unique beaches, the south coast for the island's most well known attractions including Seal Bay, Vivonne Bay and Flinders Chase, or back towards Penneshaw on the Dudley Peninsula for wineries and lighthouses.
