The cosy cottage has 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds and 2 bathrooms on 5 acres of farmland. We grow fruit trees, herbs, vegetables with loads of ornamental flowers/trees. Guests can wonder around the 5 acreas property.

When you arrive, Lavinia & Matthew will welcome you and show you your accommodation. There is a detailed folder with lots of info about the accommodation and what is in the area.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. A sizeable kitchen with dining room and lounge combined. Linen and kitchen utensils provided for 6 people. A portacot and high chair is available upon request. The house has original artwork on the walls that Lavinia has painted and are for sale. We supply cooking oils and condiments tea coffee and milk are all here for you.
Food shops are just down the road (IGA) and further afield Tahmoor Woolworths. We have fresh baked goods with a French twist just down the road. Including medical centre, cafes, pub, alcohol shop.
Lavinia's swim spa is available for your use. It is situated 10 metres away from the cottage behind Lavinia's house. To keep the integrity of the water and not be contaminated by the wildlife and insects in the area the lid is always closed. More info is available and rules are in the info book in the cottage. Access to swim spa is from 8 am to 7 pm (heated all year round). Note: "Swim Spa is closed during the months of June-July, for maintenance and deep cleaning."
Your hosts are Matthew & Lavinia who are super friendly and love hosting guests on their property. They have been hosting the asian market over 10 years, Lavinia makes products on the farm under the brand Lavinia Botanica and in the house you will experience her products. All artwork displayed in the cottage was created by Lavinia. The extensive garden around the cottage and further a field is created by Matthew.
Thirlmere is a small semi-rural town in the Macarthur Region of New South Wales, Australia, in Wollondilly Shire. Popularly known for its railway origins, the town is located 89 km south west of Sydney (about a 60-minute drive), one third of the distance from Sydney to Canberra. A new entertainment centre has been built in the town of Picton with many different artists performing. Thirlmere host Thomas the Tank at the Railway museum. We are close to Wollongong (30min) away and also close to Southern Highland.
