Stanthorpe lies at the heart of “The Granite Belt” region, which extends for 50km north from the border of New South Wales. The town is surrounded by large granite outcrops, which can be seen as you drive through the countryside, visiting the many farms and vineyards, tasting and gathering local supplies to enjoy during your stay.
