And yet its only a 5 minute drive from Mudgee town with all of its fabulous pubs, restaurants, cafes and the wineries scattered around the neighbourhood. This serene retreat offers a large, lush level backyard with landscaped gardens, plus well-tended paddocks to kick a ball or refine your golf swing, alongside native bushland. Relax in the spa or by the fireplace or two fire pits, skim rocks in the dams or climb the hill behind the houses for beautiful views of the surrounding farmland. Lazy Frog Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms and Green Tree Cottage which is a short walk away can sleep 4 in 2 bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms feature French doors opening onto the 30m long front verandah, inviting you unwind while resident kangaroos graze. All other bedrooms offer relaxing views of surrounding bushland. Multiple kitchens, TVs, living rooms, dining rooms and verandahs mean that you can all enjoy your time together, but can also have your own space too.

Stu and I have 3 kids and love spending as much time as we can with family and friends in Mudgee. We love being outdoors, whether it’s bushwalking, gardening, sitting on the ride on mower or reading a book underneath a tree. We’ve poured our heart and soul into Frog Hill, and hope that you feel right at home when you stay.

Frog Hill is a 25 acre property that is approximately half cleared paddocks and half native bushland filled with gum trees and native plants. There are usually kangaroos grazing peacefully in the paddocks, and many birds enjoying the native flowers. The property is bordered by small farms, and is close to Burnbrae winery, Mudgee Honey Haven and Mudgee Observatory. And we are about a 5 minute drive from Mudgee town. Without the lights of Mudgee town, the night sky at Frog Hill is spectacular. We hope that you enjoy the location as much as we do!
