Your hosts are Kylie and Brad, who stayed at Glass on Glasshouse for their 25th wedding anniversary a few years ago. They loved it so much that when it came up for sale in 2024, they jumped at the chance to live and work in such a beautiful place. Both Kylie and Brad are easy going and approachable, while maintaining top notch standards for our guests.

Glass on Glasshouse is a tranquil and peaceful retreat with only 3 private and luxurious villas. The stunning modern design hits you first. Floor to ceiling glass on two sides, with warm timber flooring, magnificent mountain views, and a decadent freestanding spa bath. It's uncluttered, natural, light & spacious. The overall experience is modern & contemporary. The kangaroos, the birdlife including black cockatoos who come in for a drink at the native garden water feature, and the peace and tranquility of being at Glass on Glasshouse will leave you rested and rejuvenated! Included in your stay is a delicious breakfast each morning, delivered to your villa by the team at The Lookout Cafe, or you may choose to walk up and have brunch on the deck overlooking the mango orchard, the kangaroos and of course the majestic Mt Coonowrin.

We are far from the hustle and bustle of city life, set in the heart of the Glasshouse Mountains with some great walks and hikes close by. There are fantastic views from the top of the mountains, and we thoroughly recommend Mt Ngungun which is an easy 40 minute walk to the top where you are rewarded with outstanding views. For a little piece of Glasshouse Mountains history a visit to the historic Bankfort House is a must do! We also recommend spending a day exploring the Maleny and Montville townships and Mary Cairncross Rainforest. Of course we also have the world famous Australia Zoo a short drive away. 800m up the road is The Lookout offering views of all the Glasshouse Mountains and all the way to the coast This beautiful spot is perfect to watch the sunset or for the early birds catch a spectacular sunrise and come back for a delicious breakfast at The Lookout Cafe at our front gate!
