We are a family of 5 that all lead busy lives in Sydney where we rarely give ourselves the time to stop and breathe. We had been dreaming of buying a farm for years where we could all ‘disconnect to reconnect’ – whether it be with just ourselves, or with extended family or friends.

Set on a 320 acre working sheep property of secluded quintessential Australian landscape that makes you feel like you’re the only people on earth, yet has close proximity to Mudgee where you can enjoy world renowned wineries and food, outdoor adventure, a great Australian town with stunning heritage streetscapes and museums. Fall in love with the unrivalled views of the sunsets and incredible vistas over one of the most beautiful areas in the region. At night, the sky explodes to life as the area is one of the premier stargazing sites in Australia (Mudgee Observatory is 10 minutes away). Having a heritage quintessential country Aussie pub ‘The Gold and Fleece Hotel’ 5 minutes down the road is an added bonus. With climate change and constant education of reducing our urban footprint, Glenayr Farm has been built 100% off the Grid and provides accommodation with a point of difference – specifically for romantic getaways or group bookings. Glenayr Farm allows you to go off the grid, escape the stress of everyday life and soak up the wonderful Australian nature without sacrificing luxury or comfort. Many steps have been taken to ensure your mind, heart and body will be refreshed while minimizing your impact on the environment. We have 2 types of accommodation. Glamping – consisting of 4 bell tents and a communal area. 2 Villas which are the ideal accommodation for the ultimate romantic escape. Our Glamping section and villas are completely separate, with their own facilities and are positioned 500 meters apart and out of site of each other for the ultimate privacy for both parties. When you book group bookings, you have the option to book the bunk house. It consists of 2 interconnecting rooms. One room has a Queen Bed and the other room has 2 bunks (double on bottom and single on top). This space is ‘cozy’ and is ideal for children.
