Our property is located down a country lane, surrounded by bush and farmland, it is peaceful and tranquil with countryside views from the large deck. Wildlife abounds with kangaroos, birds, echidnas and wombats often spotted trundling through the bush. Farm animals are also nearby so if you bring your dog you will need to ensure they don't disturb the farm animals. The property is large bush block of 60 acres and has 2 open dams so if you are bringing children you will need to exercise caution. The top of the property has magnificent district views and there is a table and seats in the "top" paddock you can use for a picnic lunch or sunset drinks. You can either walk up the steep hills or enter the property from the rear gate and road. The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people, the master bedroom has an ensuite and there is a main bathroom with euro laundry. The main living area features an open fire place, kitchen and meals area, fire wood is available for the open fire. There is also a chimenea on the large deck however while fire restrictions are in place fires are not to be lit outside. Our favourite time of day is sunset on the deck with the sunset lighting up the distant hills, the deck has outdoor furniture and a BBQ for your use.

Goldfields House is located down quiet country lane surrounded by bush and farmland. Being on 20+ha (60 acres) there are vantage points and peaceful spots to visit, picnic or enjoy a cocktail (with a camp fire subject to restrictions and precautions). Nearby is the township of Kyneton which boasts fabulous food venues, hotels and bars, there is also a train station and supermarkets. Other favourites are nearby Redesdale Hotel, Castlemaine and Malmsbury towns and weekend markets. Kyneton Ridge Estate is a favourite for lunch and nearby Barfold Estate also have a great selection of wines to sample and buy. Black Hill Reserve, Turpin Falls at Metcalfe East and the Cascades at Metcalfe are also great spots to visit.
