The pièce de résistance is the positioning of this studio cottage, practically in he field of horses and next to the hen house. The small garden offers an outdoor barbecue and beautiful sunsets all year round.

Miriam Heatherich has a long history of working with both vulnerable children and animals.
Registered nationally with the Australian Not-for-profit and Charity Commission, Herd Harmony operates from Wilindi Estate, at Tyabb on the Mornington Peninsula. At this location, Miriam continues to work with animals and children, providing a unique educational experience for her guests and their families.
Miriam has successfully rescued horses from the slaughter pipeline and others who have been abandoned. A team of qualified equine vets, dentists and farriers provide integral support in nurturing each horse back to full health. Once well, the horse can be then be behaviourally assessed, trained and eventually, re-homed.
Miriam is currently gaining qualifications to become an Equine Assisted Teacher, certified by the Equine Psychotherapy Institute.
She has a long and successful career working with a variety of not-for-profit organizations , both in Australia and Singapore.
With a passion for supporting vulnerable children and animals, Miriam combines supporting these two causes in creating the rescue organization 'Herd Harmony'.

Cape Schanck is situated on the southernmost tip of the Peninsula. Cape Schanck lighthouse was the second lighthouse to be built in Victoria in 1859. The lighthouse separates the waters of Bass Strait from the waters of Eastern Point.
