I am a lifetime river rat of Clayton Bay, and my love for this beautiful area runs deep. My husband and I are lucky enough to live on the property, just a stone’s throw from the retreat, where we’re surrounded by the natural beauty and peaceful charm of the river. We spend much of our time out on the water, enjoying both our motor boat and sailing boat — it's our happy place. This community holds a special place in our hearts, and we feel truly connected to the land, the water, and the people here. I’m also a proud mother of adult children and a doting Grammy, which brings even more joy and meaning to our lives.

Clayton Bay is a delightful hidden gem! Nestled away, it offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. Being a part of the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula, you can easily soak up the sun on beautiful beaches or indulge in delicious local eateries. The nearby wine regions promise delightful tastings, while a leisurely cruise on a paddle steamer or a charming ride on the Cockle Train at Goolwa, adds a touch of nostalgia and exploration.
