Located in first estate, 8 minutes walk to the local Venus Bay shops or a short drive or walk to beach no.1 which is patrolled in the summer months. 3 bedrooms– one room has a king bed, one has a king single & one has a king single & single. There is also a portacot & high chair available for use. There is one bathroom, laundry with a washing machine & a toilet. As this is our family holiday home, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, a large fridge/freezer, some pantry items are able to be used if you need to but guests are expected to provide their own food & bottled water if preferred. Linen is provided if you wish to use it but you are also welcome to bring your own (most people prefer this & its very common in Venus Bay short stay homes), for this reason the beds won't be made up but the linen will be available. You will need your own for the portacot if required. Limited towels are also available for use. There is a deck for sitting an enjoying the surrounding trees while you listen to the local wildlife & often the waves crashing. The perfect place for morning coffee or evening drinks. (we don't have outdoor seats/table as they blow away) We highly recommend you leave the key in the lock box when you venture out to avoid losing it, in the instance of a lost key the guests will be responsible for calling out a locksmith and the fees associated with this. Please be aware that there is no wifi at this house, but thereare plenty of boardgames and books to keep you entertained and a box of toys for the kids if needed. Telstra has the best coverage for the area, aldi mobile also works fine for us but some other providers can be touch and go, especially during peak demand. Perfect for switching off! Best places for coffee, in our opinion, is the Venus Bay general store for close or slightly further is the bird and wolf cafe in Tarwin Lower (amazing food too!!) There is no mains water in Venus Bay so you may wish to bring bottled water if you don’t like the idea of tank water.
