Molong is set in the hills of the Macquarie Ranges, 32 km north of Orange on the Mitchell Highway. It is a rural town with plenty of old-world charm. The main street is National Trust-classified, and many fine heritage buildings from the 1800s are scattered around this Country NSW town.
Follow the heritage walking tour of Molong to see the many fine 19th-century buildings. Wander through craft shops or art galleries and visit nearby historic villages such as Yeoval, Cumnock, Manildra and Cudal.
Yarn Market:Take a walk into the small township and the Yarn Market is worth a visit to stock up on some local delicacies and crafts as well as a guided tour and talk on the History of the Old Coach House and Molong itself.
