Legana is situated in the beautiful Tamar Valley, well known for its many vineyards. Close by are tourist attractions like Tasmania zoo, Tamar Island wetlands, Beaconsfield gold mine, Seahorse world & Platypus house. There is a shopping centre with a Woolworths supermarket, Banjos bakery, chemist, takeaways, butcher, newsagency & post office, RV centre & more. Velo vineyard is a short stroll from the us which has a restaurant the Barrel Room, Rosevears tavern is a 5 minute drive which is situated on the Tamar river & there are 2 taverns that do meals near by also.
