Josef is a chef, and I am a natural therapist. We love quality food and make a lot of our own produce, from organic sour dough breads, to our breakfast sausages, jams, and chutneys. We also love travelling, and every trip we take, we try to explore a different part of the world. We enjoy staying in different bed and breakfasts and seeing what other tourism businesses have to offer. It keeps us fresh, and helps us to see whether we can improve the way we run our own business. Enhancing our guests experience is always at the forefront of our minds.

What sets us apart from other properties is our service. We provide a full breakfast daily, which is served to the individual cottages. Our breakfast menu gives our guests a choice of starters and hot breakfasts. Having a really good breakfast is a great way to start the day, especially when you plan to go out and explore the Hinterland. We also offer evening meals, and have a great selection to choose from on our dinner menu. We serve dinner to the cottages, each course at a time ... it's like dining in a restaurant for 2! We have a day spa, where house guests can enjoy a range of massages, and other therapies. Couple's massages are popular, as are our half day spa packages, which include soaking in our day spa jacuzzi, and lunch on the deck. The views are spectacular from the day spa, looking down to Lake Baroon, and across to the Conondale Ranges. These views are also on offer from our Lakeview cottages, whilst distant views of the valley beyond can be seen from our Gardenview cottages. In the summer months our saltwater pool is very inviting, for a refreshing dip on a hot humid day.

Maleny has a lovely hinterland position, close enough to all the coastal action, but far enough away to have a warm country feel about it. Due to it's elevation, it's 3-4 degrees cooler than on the coast, which is lovely in the heat of summer, and makes for real snuggle-around-the-log-fire weather in winter. Maleny has a eclectic mix of people, coming from many different backgrounds, given the area an interesting vibe. The spectacular scenery, great bush walking possibilities, the creativeness within the community, the art and craft on display, and the numerous dining options, makes Maleny a wonderful place to visit.
