Berry is a beautiful rural area, with its rolling green hills and farms and breathtaking views of the surrounding bushland and escarpment. Despite the property’s serene countryside appeal, award-winning restaurants, wineries and stylish interior boutiques are all a 2 minute drive away in the heart of the Berry village, and a 10-min drive from Gerroa’s Seven Mile Beach. We recommend Queen Street Eatery, South on Albany in Berry and Bangalay in nearby Shoalhaven Heads for fine dining experiences (bookings essential). For super friendly service, fabulous coffee and/or breakfast or lunch, The Hungry Monkey on Prince Alfred Street, is a must. If you are lucky enough to time your stay with the monthly country markets, they are definitely worth a visit (first Sunday of every month). You can also stock up on fresh local produce at he Berry local farmers’ markets, held every Thursday afternoon at the Berry show ground. If you love your bushwalking, try the nearby Drawing Room Rocks walk. This two-hour, four kilometre (return) walk rewards you with panoramic views. Just down Woodhill Road, Boongaree Park is a wonderfully diverse recreation facility including multiple sporting facilities such as tennis courts, skate park and pump track, a huge kids adventure playground exercise circuits and bike tracks.
