Franklin Lodge is a Heritage listed, Federation Queen Anne style property that was constructed in 1850. A charming six bedroom, two story home that features 4 bedrooms with ensuites, plus 2 other bedrooms which share a separate bathroom. 4 Ensuites are open for visitors.
The Lodge faces the Huon River and is nicknamed "Botanical Garden of Franklin" by the locals.
There are good wi-fi reception in all area.
A charming combination of mixed new and old-style settings with antique and modern furniture, the many features include open fireplaces, pressed tin ceilings, original doors and woodwork, ornate fireplaces and a large wood heater in the kitchen which also heats the lounge area.
The property is also suitable for private weddings and functions.
A short walk to local restaurants, cafes and tavern, children’s playground, bowling club, sports oval and the Wooden Boat Centre and a short drive to visit nearby wineries and places of interest.
Guests will have full access to the lounge room, breakfast room and outdoor area.
