We are a couple that love to travel and experience the world, and particularly love to experience "the real" culture of the places we visit. Staying with family and friends, visiting small towns and country villages and trying, as much as possible, to live like a local. We have grown children so now mainly travel as a couple or with friends. We have hosted 8 foreign exchange students over the years, as well has some couch surfers and others from around the world. We have recently purchased a house to specifically operate as a self-catering BnB in the Hunter Valley region of NSW, Australia. To sum us up, we love good company, good food and good wine! We live in the neighboring house and are readily accessible should our guests need us, but otherwise interactions will be limited to check in and departure. The home has an adjoining unit / maisonette that may be booked by other guests. In this case the outdoor entertaining deck is a shared space for guests.

This location is very convenient to the vineyards, cellar doors and on a bus route for concerts in the vineyards. Stonebridge Golf Club is only 1.5km away and Cessnock town centre is only 3km away. For concert goers the home is located on one of the key bus routes. To visit the pubs or restaurants in town it is a short and inexpensive cab ride.
