Oaktree Guesthouse is an iconic building in Narbethong, it is surrounded by gardens, farmland and forest with wonderful views of the Black Ranges. Oaktree Guesthouse is a cosy, homey BnB, decorated in the style of an old time European Guesthouse, where guests are warmly welcomed and are encouraged to enjoy the gardens, play board games, borrow DVDs and books or just relax with a glass of wine, or a dip in one of the outdoor spas. There are also complimentary BBQ facilities and a well stocked bar. There are 3 suites, all of which have a lounge, kitchenette, separate bedroom and ensuite. There is also a sofa bed in each lounge. The suites are all upstairs, so be prepared. Breakfast is included in the price and we cater for all tastes. Other meals may be purchased if ordered at time of booking. Oaktree is an old fashioned guesthouse and furnished to suit the building style. We are about relaxation and quiet enjoyment, not rowdy parties.ppp

Mark and Megan are very passionate about their Guesthouse and providing a happy and relaxed environment for all guests. They are a mum and dad operation and do most of the work themselves, with the occasional help of a local employee to serve breakfast in the dining room. All breads, biscuits and cakes are baked by Megan and the eggs are from onsite hens. Some salad items are from the vegetable patch, and many food items are locally sourced when possible . Oaktree Guesthouse is a place to come for quiet relaxation, a drink at the bar, good food and pleasant company. Mark has many a tale to tell and many a guest has been entertained with much laughter. Megan is also a character and has had many an interesting experience in her time. Both are very welcoming and helpful people who like to meet people from all walks of life.

Oaktree Guesthouse is 15 minutes from Marysville and 45 minutes from Lake Mountain resort, which has something for every season, there is also Marysville's Gallipoli park with a great kids playground, Steavensons Falls and Brunos Sculpture garden are in Marysville, and there is a Trout farm in Buxton,as well as Mountain bike tracks. Narbethong also has hiking tracks that start in the reserve and a downhill mountain bike track off plantation road, be advised it is not for beginners.
