= Property Type: Shared Homestay = The guest bedroom & bathroom are private/not shared, and both have lockable doors. Safety and security are a top priority for all guests. Guests will share the apartment with the owner/host, who lives at the property and has separate bedroom and bathroom. The shared common areas are balcony, kitchen, lounge room. It is a very modern apartment with all amenities and internal laundry. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking appliances for guests to use. Free Tea, Coffee and milk provided. Guests may also share staple kitchen consumables (e.g. oil, milk, butter, salt, pepper, eggs etc.). Free unlimited WIFI is provided. There is a TV (with Netflix and WIFI/Free-to-Air TV) in the guest bedroom. There is a large pool, gym, sauna and garden area access. THERE IS NO FREE PARKING AS PART OF THIS LISTING.
About the Host: A quiet and respectful IT Professional, who works from home some days in the common living space behind a screen. Friendly and mostly keeping to myself, I am available anytime to assist guests with questions or advice about their stay in Brisbane and travels or emigration to Australia.
About the Neighborhood: Newstead has a quiet atmosphere, close to the city but safe and peaceful. There is bus interchange 5min walk from the apartment and Bowen Hills train station is approx. 10min walk. It is also a prime riverside location, with Ferry access from New Farm Ferry port. Featuring retail, Supermarkets, dining options, including a public shopping center integrated within the heritage-listed Gasworks Plaza. The area is known for its modern aesthetic and new age living atmosphere. Fortitude Valley and also the iconic James Street are very close walkable distances, which are both lively and exciting parts of Brisbane. It's a central hub for restaurants, night life.
