Rangelands Outback Camp is located on top of a jump up or mesa on Rangelands Station, a working cattle property 10km north of Winton, Queensland, Australia. You’ll get to immerse yourself in the true outback story of what earth was like millions of years ago but in 21st century style & comfort. Each supersize tent has a king size bed with top designer comforts and touches of the land’s heritage. Your spacious rustic bathroom allows you to experience a rain shower with a spectacular outback view. Our gourmet chef will satisfy your appetite with delicious meals that stay in touch with our outback culture and preferences for local produce. Rangelands is located in a truly amazing ancient landscape. We encourage you to explore the region via a selection of optional tours to incredible attractions including: Australian Age of Dinosaurs; Dinosaur Stampede at Lark Quarry; Opalton; Bladensburg National Park; Waltzing Matilda Centre and more….. Access to Rangelands is via Winton or Longreach. There are twice weekly REX Airlines flights into Winton and daily flights into Longreach. Rangelands will arrange airport pick ups/drop offs on request. Please ask for pricing. Self-drive guests are provided parking in Winton town, as Rangelands is located on a private property and access is restricted. Self-drive guests will be transferred by Rangelands courtesy shuttle to/from the property.
