Sealords was built in 2005 and renovated/refurnished in 2018 immediately after Tim & Stephens purchase of Sealords. Guests are from around the world, in particular Europe, and from all over Australia. All receive a warm welcome.
There are a number of World Heritage rainforest walks in the surrounding area and on the nearby islands. You may see native wildlife such as a Cassowary, or a group of Curlew Birds. Butterflies can be seen in Sealords gardens for most of the year, including the Ulysses butterfly. Day tours to the Great Barrier Reef from Mission Beach and other activities can be arranged for guests by Sealords in advance or on arrival
