A quaint little cottage that is in the heart of the scenic town of Sheffield
Little Cottage on Main is in the heart of Sheffield amongst, the local shops, markets, post office, cafes, restaurants and 2 local pubs. Also 2 service stations a commonwealth bank and a handy small supermarket, which will cover all your needs.
Sheffield is only a 35 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal in Devonport and Devonport airport, 50 minutes to Cradle Mountain the icon of Tasmania, 3 and half hours over the great lake to Hobart, 2 and half hour to Strahan the beautiful rugged West Coast and an hour to Launceston.
Sheffield is known as the town of murals and have a mural festival every 12 months, the ‘Working Art Space and Gallery’ and the murals are a must see as you wander around the town.
The magical world of Tazmazia, 8 mazes and the miniture “Village of the lower crackpot!”is on 15 minutes away.
10 km from Sheffield is Lake Barrington which is the deepest Lake in the southern hemisphere and great for a swim, ski or kayak.
