We try to think of everyting you might need out of a holiday home at the Sandy Sister. It's a great base to explore the sights of the region, but also incredibly comfortable to just sit and relax. Throw in the incredible views, sunsets and the outdoor bath you will leave very relaxed.
I love living in Tas and exploring the beaches, reserves and vast spaces with no one around! I'm lucky I can share some of these less explored areas through our properties at Avoca (Crooked Chimney Cottage) and Dodges Ferry (The Sandy Sister). When travelling I enjoy trying to find unique places like these!
Known for the selection of beaches Dodges Ferry is a fantastic base for exploring the South East region of Tas. A laid back coastal town, only a short drive from Hobart but with all the amenities you need to not have to leave the town. An hour in any direction will take you to must see destinations such as Port Arthur, MONA and Richmond. There are two cafes a minutes walk away, right by the local surf beach. The area also has some great food and wine options such as Bangor Vineyard and the Dunalley Seaside Market.
