The main patrolled beach (named in Australia’s 101 Best Beaches) and Moonee Beach are at your doorstep, only an hour and a half from Sydney. Catherine Hill Bay is a secluded and sleepy old mining village within the City of Lake Macquarie. Access is via a sealed beach road off the Sydney - Newcastle Freeway and the Pacific Highway. Illaroo is situated in the new Beaches Estate (a residential village within Catherine Hill Bay) nestled between two pristine ocean beaches and hugged by vast National Parks. You will receive an SMS before your arrival with information on directions to your property and any other special information you may require during your stay.
