Cosy bungalow with ensuite, beachy decor, extremely comfortable queen sized bed Cont. breakfast is provided. Very private, roomy, detached from main house, ideal for a couple; foxtel included in the tariff. We are a very well travelled couple who love to talk to people from all backgrounds and walks of life. The house is 1 min 25 secs drive/5 mins walk to one of Victoria's best swimming and fishing beaches, 10 min walk to ferry, 4 mins drive to 5 top wineries and the golf club. It is 700 mtrs to the start of Portarlington village which has 10 cafes/ restaurants, incl. Indian, Chinese, Italian, Seafood, Pizza, plus numerous little boutique clothes and homeware stores, bank, newsagency, wine bar and hotel, all of a very good standard. The open fireplace in the Bungalow is perfect for those chilly winter evenings - wood supplied free of charge with 1 days notice required [ once lit, the fire must not be left unattended ]. Smoking is not appreciated anywhere on the premises - if you must smoke, kindly smoke out in the street, as it is very difficult to eliminate the tobacco aroma from curtains and furnishings.
We are a well travelled retired couple, very happy to interact,, but equally, your time at our Bungalow is just that - your time - and we are just as happy to leave you alone and to your own devices. We are only a 'phone call away for any queries or assistance and for stays over 4 days we can do your washing for you [ at no charge ] if needed, and assuming we are home.
Plenty of fishing, swimming , golfing, wineries, rail trails for riding and walking, restaurants and cafes on our doorstep.
