I am a retired veterinary surgeon, and I am actively involved in local environmental interests and community issues. I love gardening and building, cycling and travel. Having traveled most of my 70 years of my life I have discovered somewhere to settle which brings together the natural environment, rural lifestyle and a great community.
Christelle works as the CEO of Destination Scenic Rim and has been involved in the tourism industry for the past 30 years.

The Old Church Bed Breakfast was the Milford Church built by the locals in 1889 from the local hardwood and Hoop Pine timber , logged and milled locally. It has a rich history and is surrounded by beautiful and peaceful rural landscape with the World Heritage mountains in the background.

The area is blessed with 3 lakes, vineyards and walking trails it is a truly unique and beautiful place. The rural roads make for safe and scenic road bike touring, the area boasts some of the best mountain biking trails in Qld. The lakes provide kayaking, water skiing, fishing and walking trails. The many vineyards provide wine tastings, jazz weekends and much more.
