Enjoy a peaceful stay in Cradle country at this cosy old property perfectly located at the gateway to the beautiful North-West of Tassie's natural attractions.
40 minutes to Cradle Mountain, 40 minutes to historic Sheffield, 40 minutes to Devonport, 35 minutes to Ulverstone, 5 minutes to Lake Barrington (Wilmot-side camp grounds), 25 minutes to Leven Canyon, 30 minutes to Spreyton.
There are 2 bedrooms with their own entrances - one King and one Twin. Both rooms have their own en suite bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink and mirror.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, carpeted and with just a touch of country thrown in! There are no cooking facilities but a kettle, microwave and toaster are provided as well as a few bits and pieces including fresh bread & milk, butter, jam, porridge, noodles, soup etc.
When you arrive you can choose to park outside on the street or inside the gates on the gravel driveway under the elm trees in an allocated space..
There's a lot to do in the area as well as (of course) Cradle Mountain National Park!
Leven Canyon, Mole Creek Caves, Boat Harbour, numerous waterfalls, The Wine Trail etc to name a few are all easy trips from here.

Excellent bistro/restaurant, bakery & coffee and live entertainment. Open 7 days a week.
Cradle Gateway Café, Moina: (20 mins away by car on the way to Cradle Mountain)

Cradle Mountain National Park: (45 mins away by car) Very likely the reason you are here! Opening times vary according to the season. All information including info about passes, shuttles etc can be found on the leaflet enclosed or on their website.
Wilmot Hills Orchard and Distillery, Back Road, Wilmot: (10 mins away by car)
Well worth a visit to meet Joe and sample some outstanding wines and spirits. Open 10am-5pm every day except Wednesday.
