Located in the sleepy seaside village of White Beach, on the picturesque Tasman Peninsula, The Pearl is nestled between a gleaming arc of white sand and gentle slopping eucalypt hills. The Pearl is a quintessential Australian beach house with 5 well appointed generous sized bedrooms, two living areas and a separate games room to keep everyone entertained. The house is split over three levels and has proportions large enough for a couple of families or a group of your besties. No roads to cross just a few steps and your toes are in the sand! Spend your day exploring the beach, kayak to Brother and Sister Islands out the front, visit Port Arthur Historic Site 12 minutes away, or do one of the many scenic coastal walks. Or if whiskey and gin tasting is more your thing then there are 2 distilleries within a 15min drive. The main house consists of two linked pavilions. The first pavilion is light and airy and contains the open plan living area the perfect place to relax and unwind, along with dining area and gourmet kitchen with all Miele appliances. The second pavilion is two story. Downstairs is a primary bedroom with ensuite and another two queen-size bedrooms along with a bathroom at the end of the hallway. Upstairs the queen-size bedroom has water views, you’ll also find a powder room, second lounge room and a large open room with 5 single beds. Please note all bedrooms and toilets are accessible only by stairs. Wide verandas wrap around the beach side and are the perfect spot for outside dining or to put your feet up and enjoy the outlook from the huge daybed. Watch the sun go down over the water while sipping on a G&T. Also located on the beach side of the property is the firepit and private hot water shower, perfect for a rinse off after the beach.

We have lived in Tassie since 2008 and are still in love with everything the island has to offer. We built The Pearl Tasmania in 2019 fulfilling my husbands life-long dream to be able to pick up his windsurfers and access the beach. For me I love creating beautiful spaces and cooking up a storm for friends and family.

Through the gate onto the beach you'll discover beautiful white sand that stretches for 2.5kms along White Beach. This peaceful family friendly beach has only small waves and minimal currents and is perfect for kayaking or stand up paddle boarding. A walk along the beach at sunset is a must. Tiny Brother and Sister Islands are just off the beach out the front, to explore them there are a couple of kayaks. Snorkeling and fishing equipment available for the beach.
