The Apollo Bay to Colac bus departs every Wednesday and a daily return service from Apollo Bay to Melbourne via Geelong (bus to Geelong followed by Vline train to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne). The Vline bus from Geelong to Apollo Bay includes a stop at Skene's Creek. Marengo is about a 25 minute walk or short taxi ride from the centre of town.
