With modern amenities blending seamlessly into its cozy charm, our timber cabin offers an idyllic escape from the demands of everyday life. Our Selby cabins (#1 and #2) are only 5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk through the forest to/ from Belgrave, where you’ll find plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants, live music, quirky shops, and, of course, the iconic Puffing Billy. From Belgrave train station you can get to Melbourne CBD in just 1 hr. The property is just a short walk/ drive away from numerous wonderful hikes in the Dandenong Ranges (like Sherbrooke Forest) and is a great base to explore the Yarra Valley. Fancy a dip or some kayaking? - Aura Vale lake (Bobs park) is just some 9 mins drive. There are 2 kayaks you would be welcome to use. Still haven't seen a kangaroo? - an easy 15 min drive to the Cardinia reservoir park and there they roam freely. The place is a great spot for a picnic or a walk along the dam wall. The cabins are suitable for max 2 people per cabin.

The area offers beautiful hikes, small tourist towns like Belgrave, Kalista, Sassafras and Olinda where you’ll find plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants, live music, quirky shops, and, of course, the iconic Puffing Billy. Free roaming kangaroos are just 15 mins drive at Cardinia Reservoir, and the wild birds (King Parrots, Rosellas, Cockatoos and kookaburras are just right here - mostly on the deck's railing. :-)
