This characterful & historic building in the centre of Healesville has been lovingly transformed into 4 super comfy & contemporary apartments, designed for 2 adults each. We are situated on a quiet tree-lined side street but only a 1 min walk from the bustling town centre which has a wealth of restaurants, bars and retail shops to keep you happy all year round. On the first Sunday of each month, there is a market at the bottom of the road selling all sorts of nic nacs and local produce. This historical landmark property was once the Masonic Lodge in Healesville and so has a wealth of history. The property was built in 1923 and was initially converted into a B&B in 2005 and in 2020 we converted the B&B into the 4 airy, spacious and luxurious self-contained apartments designed for 2 adults each. Please also note in addition to our terms and conditions: LATE CALL OUT FEE: A fee of One Hundred Dollars will be charged to you (the guest) for a late call out fee regardless of reason.
We are Tuck Inn (us tuckeroos) We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce or reintroduce ourselves to everyone and to put a face behind our business. We are Ozzie and Donia (and little Maalika), we moved to Australia in 2006 and always wanted to start a hospitality business, having been inspired by some friends who run a B&B in the UK. We took over Tuck Inn in 2011 and in 2020 we have completely renovated the original B&B from the ground upwards into the current 4 luxurious self-contained apartments. With a short 1 min stroll to the main street, you are spoilt by the numerous brekkie options available and as such, we decided to spread the love and reduce our breakfast offering. For our gorgeous repeat guests, we have also commandeered the shared garden and lounge area to give us a little more family space. There are so many parks, trails and picnic spots close by, you will not run out of options to have your own alfresco experience, or you can grab the Tree Top Retreat Apartment to have your own private outdoor space amongst the trees. Where do I start! Both our properties are literally a tiptoe away from the main street in Healesville which offers fabulous varieties in restaurants and bars/pubs and cellar doors. The 'must try' Four Pillars distillery is a 7-minute walk from us where you can only but feel the warm fuzzy feeling when trying a paddle of gin and tonic tasters or cocktails – delish! The Yarra Valley area is a massive drawing card for those who enjoy wine, beer, cider, bubbles, cheese, food, exploring, walking, cycling, discovering, and more importantly wanting to be immersed in life as it should be lived! We are truly blessed living here…. But in all honesty, Healesville and the Yarra Valley is more accessible than most think. So best you vroom vroom it up to the ‘ville…. It’s all waiting to be discovered.
