It’s also the home break of pro surfer Julian Wilson (so you know the waves are going to be fab). Nestled comfortably near the shores of Marcoola and Peregian, Coolum is fringed by grassy beachfronts, parks, and an idyllic ocean backdrop. If you’re in the mood for beachside strolls, sunrise hikes and some adrenaline-fuelled fun (how does water-skiing at Oz Ski Resort sound?), then Coolum is the spot for you.
